Javea is a popular tourist destination, with Alicante and Valencia airports only an hours drive away. Set in the old Pueblo of Javea, the town house, even though around 500 years old it has been restored sympathetically to reflect its original form.
It is set on three floors, as you walk in on the ground floor there is a kitchen with dinning area, then a quiet area with sofa and internet point, shower room, with a light well that goes up through the house to a sky light on the terrace. On the middle floor there are two double bedrooms and a twin with low ceiling ideal for children! There is also a full bathroom. The top floor is a comfortable open plan sitting room with French Doors opening out on to the roof terrace, TV and DVD player. This gorgeous house can sleep up to 6 people comfortably.
It is situated on the Old Town, with a charming olde world atmosphere. Full of interesting corners, from the “Tapas” bars to the museum and the old fortified church, which dominates the village, it’s all right on your doorstep. The port is just 2 km down the road, with it’s beautiful harbour, pebbly beach and charming promenade and 3.3 km further up the coast is the beautiful sandy cove of the Arenal, with a range of bars and restaurants to make your mouth water.
There are many options for outdoor activities, the Montgo Mountain and Valleys that form the beautiful backdrop to Javea have some of the most stunning “vistas” imaginable and create a wonderful microclimate. According to the World Health Organisation, Javea is one of the healthiest places to live and considered to be on of the sunniest places in Spain!
